Information collected
The project inquiry form requests your name, email address, project or business location, service category, and project description. Organization, phone number, and desired timing are optional. Do not submit confidential drawings, access credentials, financial information, health information, government identifiers, or other sensitive information through the initial form.
Cloudflare processes technical request data needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address, browser or device information, requested page, referring page, and security signals. Turnstile also processes technical signals to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse.
Why information is used
- Assess whether an inquiry fits the available services, capability, capacity, and geographic scope
- Respond, clarify needs, prepare a possible scope, and maintain related business records
- Protect the form and website from abuse, spam, and security threats
- Meet applicable legal, contractual, tax, insurance, and professional obligations
Submitting an inquiry does not create a client relationship. Information is not sold or used for unrelated mass marketing.
Service providers and processing locations
The website uses Cloudflare Pages for hosting and security, Cloudflare Turnstile for form-abuse protection, and Resend to deliver inquiry emails to inquiries@powerandplans.ca. Cloudflare Web Analytics is not enabled in the current deployment. Custom interaction-event analytics are not enabled in the current deployment.
These providers may process or store information outside Ontario or Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of another jurisdiction.
Cookies and analytics
The website does not use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioural profiling. Cloudflare Turnstile may use browser storage or technical signals needed to protect the form. The analytics configuration does not receive project descriptions, form-field contents, email addresses, phone numbers, or client account identifiers.
Retention and safeguards
An initial inquiry that does not lead to an engagement is normally deleted within 24 months, unless it is needed for a dispute, legal obligation, security investigation, or continuing business discussion. Records connected to an accepted engagement are retained according to the written agreement and applicable legal, insurance, tax, and professional requirements. Cloudflare and Resend retain service data according to the account configuration and their applicable terms.
Safeguards include encrypted transmission, access controls, multi-factor authentication where supported, restricted administrator access, form validation, abuse protection, and vendor configuration review. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You may ask about access to or correction of your personal information, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a privacy concern. Some information may need to be retained where law, contract, or professional obligations require it. Identity may need to be verified before a request is fulfilled.

This notice may change when the website, service providers, business practices, or legal obligations change. The current version and effective date appear on this page.
